BYLAWS

Bylaws are required for significant decisions and commitments made by Council including the establishment of the financial plan, borrowing, regulations, setting rates, and land use controls. Provincial legislation prescribe the specific requirements for the adoption of bylaws.

The following bylaws are the most commonly requested by the public. A full list is available at the District Office if you do not find the bylaw you are looking for. Bylaws have been consolidated for convenience and to provide the most accurate information possible. These online bylaws do not represent the official versions, and are not admissible in a court of law. Before making any decisions based on the online copies of bylaws, you should confirm all information contained therein. Official certified copies including supporting documentation are available from the Corporate Officer. To have a bylaw mailed or faxed to you at a nominal cost, phone us at (250) 726-7744 or e-mail us at info@ucluelet.ca.

Please note that while individual bylaws will be kept as up-to-date as possible, there may be amendments which have not been incorporated.
