Kayaking

The waters in the area offer kayaking experiences for all types of skill levels.  There are the sheltered waters of the Broken Group Islands, paddling in the Nitinat Triangle and the open ocean off Ucluelet and the exposed section of the West Coast Trail and the Long Beach Units of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

The MV Lady Rose and MV Frances Barkley will transport paddlers, kayaks and canoes to Sechart, on the fringe of the Broken Group Islands.  Natural features of this group of islands include lagoons, sandbars, blowholes, arches and secluded anchorages.
