Protect your dog and cat with a pet licence.

A pet licence is more than just shiny, it helps protect your dog and cat by providing an easy-to-identify tag and registration with the District of Ucluelet. If your dog is lost or injured, the fastest way to be reunited with them is by this dog tag and the licence.

Remember to get your pet license every year.

Every dog or cat over the age of two (2) months must be licensed each year with the District of Ucluelet. Pet licenses expire on December 31st.

Pet owners who do not license their dog or cat annually may be fined.

Cost of a pet license.

The cost of licensing your dog or cat depends on whether or not it is spayed or neutered. If your dog or cat is spayed or neutered, you will pay a reduced licence fee. Applicable prices are setout in the application form

How to apply for a Pet License

Due to COVID-19, this year's pet license application process is a little different.

Please complete your Pet License Application form, or provide a copy of your renewal letter with any updated information, including your mailing address, along with your payment for the appropriate amount, and mail the same to the District of Ucluelet or leave it in our drop box outside our office door at 200 Main Street during the hours of 8:30AM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday, except holidays.

Your license tag will be mailed to you.
